Meet Juxtapose, The Sugar Project Skeleton

He may look as though he could use a pie or two, but this handsomely adorned skeleton looks super-duper fly because he’s been painted by some of the best tattooists to call these British Isles home. The best of it is…he’s going to belong to one lucky person who donates to The Sugar Project and in turn, buys raffle tickets!

This is an incredible opportunity to support both a wonderful cause and be in with the chance of owning “Juxtapose” (because even skeletons need a name). You can buy your raffle tickets via Lisa Bolton’s Just Giving page and we sincerely hope that you get involved.

About The Sugar Project

Hosted by artist Lisa Bolton, The Sugar Project features an artist list that comprises 70 incredible tattooists; some of the most respected names in the tattoo community brought together with some up-and-coming artists of the future. Each artist is given a basic skull which they paint, sculpt and craft however their imagination drives them, and the results are truly inspiring. The Sugar Project skulls are then auctioned hourly on eBay over the period of a week starting March 1st 2011 and all profits are donated to that year’s chosen charity. The Sugar Project was created in memory of Lisa’s father and inspired by the Mexican festival El Dia de los Muertos, to celebrate his life and give back to the hospice that cared for him before he died. Lisa graciously thanks the participating artists, sponsors and those who generously bid throughout last year’s event, which led to the Woking Hospice receiving nearly £6,000.
